title: Commutator

Description:
A pivotted coil of wire is placed between the poles of a magnet.  Current is supplied by a power supply through a commutator through an ammeter.  With a slight nudge, the wire coil will spin.

Questions:
What can be done to make the coil turn faster?
Why is there less current when the coil is spinning fastest?
