A ball launching device is attached to a Pasco cart. Attached to the Pasco track is a small flag that interupts a photogate which fires a yellow ball vertically upward. When properly set up, the ball will return to the firing device, even when moving at a constant speed.
A drop rod can be attached to show that the ball will fall into the cart.
A "tunnel" can be constructed of books and/or boxes so that the ball flies over the tunnel and lands back in the cart.
