Welcome to the Undergraduate Physics Labs home page! We extend an invitation to our visitors to explore the Undergraduate Physics Program at Northwestern. Our goal is to provide students enrolled in the Introductory Physics Laboratory a means to obtain course information quickly and efficiently. All students are encouraged to explore each page of the site.
Instruction manuals printed professionally in black/white may be purchased at the Norris Student Bookstore. All students are required to bring a paper copy of the lab exercise instructions with them to class each week. Full color .pdf documents may be downloaded from each course's page by clicking the link to the left or below. Printed copies of these may be brought to class instead of the "official" manual, but it is usually less expensive and it is certainly less bother to purchase the manual than to purchase ink or toner cartridges and paper.

Vernier Software company allows students to use Graphical Analysis 3.4 at home if they wish but they no longer provide the installation code. We offer the code here and we offer the same startup template for new projects as we use in the lab. (Save the template text file and change its extension to .ga3)
