title: Sun/Earth/Moon
aka: Orrery

Description:
A model which shows the relative POSITIONS of the Sun, Earth, and Moon.  The device is motor driven.

The time periods are arranged to be to the proper ratio and can be used with Kepler's laws.

Please make it a point that neither the size nor the distances are to scale, and it also cannot show why every full moon is not eclipsed.

Questions:
Why is it that only two full moons a year can go through the shaddow of the Earth?
