title: Frictional Electricity
aka: Rods and Fur
Description:
Glass and a hard rubber rod are rubbed with fur to produce positive and negative charges which can be shown on an electroscope.  Also available is a sample of AMBER, to connect to the ancient Greeks who first observed an electrical effect.
Fur and silk are kept in a low humidity drying chamber when not in use.

Questions:
Would this work on the moon? (ie. with lower gravity?)

Look up the Triboelectric Index to learn which different surfaces produce which charges.
