title: Baffled Tuning Fork/speaker
aka: Interference of a tuning fork or the reason for speaker enclosures.

Description:
  1)  A tuning fork is struck, and the baffle with a slot in it is placed in front of the tine of the fork.  Since it blocks the sound signal from the other tine (180 degrees out of phase.)  the sound is more intense.
  2) A small speaker is connected to an audio source (computer).  When a baffle is held up in front, the tone of the speaker improves greatly.

Question:
Does the frequency of the tuning fork determine the outcome?
Which of the tones of the speaker are lost without the baffle?
